My Journey
From writing my first broken lines of code to architecting systems that scale.
My journey started with just a laptop and a stubborn drive to build things. Those first few months were incredibly humbling. I remember scrolling through projects built by amazing engineers, feeling like I was miles behind. There were constant failures, a lot of terrible code, and absolutely zero clients knocking on my door. But every mistake taught me something new. I just kept showing up, building small, broken things until they finally started working, and slowly piecing together what real engineering actually looks like.
Eventually, persistence turned into genuine curiosity. I dove head-first into learning everything I could get my hands on—exploring IoT hardware protocols, reading firmware docs, and building quirky little experiments just to see how things tick under the hood. Around this time, things started to shift. I began landing my first small freelance gigs and building my own passion projects. I still vividly remember the rush of my very first client asking me to build a product-based website—it felt like a massive milestone. Between exploring embedded systems with C++ and tinkering with microcontrollers, this raw, self-directed exploration planted the seeds for the complex systems I build today.
I eventually hit a wall trying to force the traditional freelancing route. It just wasn't clicking. So, I took a step back and shifted my focus toward what I was genuinely passionate about. I stopped blindly chasing clients and started building highly efficient, purpose-driven projects for myself. That inward shift changed everything. It ignited a deep, lasting passion for system optimization and solving complex, knotty problems—becoming the major turning point in my career as a developer.
I wanted to test my own limits and see how far I could push the DOM. So, I built NeoRide, a game made purely for enjoyment to see what I could accomplish with UI elements alone, without using any external graphics. Around the same time, I wanted to push the boundaries of frontend performance, so I built Star Cadet, a gamified educational platform using HTML5 Canvas. The real challenge? Ensuring a buttery-smooth 60 FPS rendering cycle on lower-end school computers. That project completely reshaped the way I approach frontend optimization.
All that experimentation paved the way for architecting enormous, production-ready systems. I took on CognitoAttend, building a cognitive attendance system designed for smart, frictionless tracking. I also engineered NeoMusic, a music website built specifically to deliver a truly immersive and great experience in music listening. My journey had finally transformed: I was no longer just looking for work—I was actively architecting scalable, high-performance systems that solve real-world problems.
Today, I'm working closely with Getting Roots Pvt Ltd, where I've architected their comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS) and the JhatpatSewa on-demand service marketplace from the ground up. Working on these highly relational, complex platforms has solidified my ability to deliver robust backend architectures, integrate secure payment gateways, and manage scalable multi-role user systems. It’s challenging, fast-paced, and exactly the kind of engineering at scale I love doing.
